It's been a bit, but back on track.
I’ve recently picked up a new job and it’s been pulling a lot of my time, but now I’m actually able to budget it a little more efficiently and able to work on getting a plugin created for the LACKEY CCG program. Google it. Too tired right now to post a link.
Just letting you all know that follow this that it’s not dead. :D
Things are back on track!? YESSSSSSSSSS!
All is going well on the DTOID TCG front. The game is still unnamed. I tossed around an idea that might have gone a little too far away from the main goal of the game. Maybe a future project? We may never know!
However, most of the gameplay hickups are being spotted, and we’re plowing through them more than ahead of schedule. Which, might make us back on schedule… I think…
In any case, the game is progressing nicely, and I finally got the measurements for the cards down. All that’s left to do is create the rest of the comment cards. Create a few special cards, Create a few more Tier 2 and Tier 3 cards, Write up a rule book, and get to work makin’ this baby playable in LACKEY CCG.
That’s right, barring some unforeseen impossibility, you’ll be able to play the Dtoid TCG over the internet against other players! EXCITING!
I’ll post a few cards coming up maybe later tonight, or tomorrow morning so you can see what I’ve been working on the past week.
Until next time, Chiiiiiiiiiildren!
Name change and an update!!
Welcome, welcome!
It’s now 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday, and I thought I might give you an update on the TCG project! As far as the TCG completion is concerned, it’s actually gone in reverse a bit. There’s been a few changes in the design as well as the game play that has pushed the overall completion back. Not to fear though! These changes were needed and adds a much faster pace to the game!
As well with the changes in the overall game play, there’s been changes in the card design as well. Using the template that was made by (astheium<—LINK AND SPELLCHEK) I was able to make a few framework cards, but in the end, I’ve decided to try my own hand at designing these cards. Instead of rehashing the past, I’m looking forward to the bright new future!
I also want to take this opportunity to thank Harry Potter and the Quidditch card game. The creator’s have supplied a very excellent replacement for the physical copies of the cards themselves.
Also, the name Flamewars is out.
So, all in all, it’s wednesday, and I’ve got to get crackin’ on making this card game every bit of fun as you expect it to be!
Until next time, Chilllllllllldren!

Welcome to the Home for Destructoid: Flame Wars!
Welcome Welcome, faithful… readers… It’s Bahs, presenting to you the project I’m working on.
DESTRUCTOID: FLAME WARS!
I’ve always loved TCG’s and if you haven’t read my 10 things you don’t know about me post, you should. Sprouting from my love for all things tradable and cardable, I’ve decided to take some inspiration from the cards that The_GHost was working on and modify them a bit to make it into a Trading Card Game!
Currently it’s in Pre-Alpha, I’m still making a lot of the cards and balancing the two decks I’m working on, but keep an eye here for more information!
If you have any suggestions, please email me at Bh.Bahs@gmail.com or message me over at Destructoid.com if you have any questions, concerns, or even ideas for new cards!
Until next time chiiiiiiiiiildren! Or until I get a C&D from Dtoid!
